Have you heard of Scottish Country Dancing? It's been shown that dancing is good for health - physical and mental - but it has also been shown that Scottish Country Dancing is up there at the top of the dancing options - just google https://www.rscds.org/document/852 The Health Benefits of Scottish Country Dancing - RSCDS
As well as being an excellent way to keep fit, Scottish Country Dancing exercises the mind as well as the body, you can enjoy having fun at the same time. The Grantham u3a Scottish Country Dance group began from scratch in May 2016, but some of our members have got the bug, and are now dancing in groups in Waltham and Newark every week, and thoroughly enjoying it. You have nothing to lose! Come and enjoy the fun with us! You do not need a partner, just bring some soft comfortable shoes; there is a small charge to cover the cost of hiring the room. Anyone interested should get in touch (John Aitken 07770 428103) or through the Groups Coordinator (a keen member of the dancing group!)
